Alessa Designs acknowledges receipt of the item(s) either described above or associated with the Service Order Number provided (the“Item”). We are accepting custody of the Item solely for the purpose of servicing or repairing your property, or if necessary, providing you with a price estimate for service or repair work. To the extent permitted by applicable law, we reserve the right to refuse to service, repair or accept custody of the Item. By submitting the Item to Alessa for service, you fully and unconditionally agree to and accept these Terms and Conditions, which are final and binding in all respects.
The present Terms and Conditions neither affect any applicable statutory rights you may have as a purchaser of a defective product, nor any rights you may have under any applicable warranty or law in the jurisdiction in which you have sought service. Should you have any questions, please telephone or email a Customer Relations Associate at the Alessa stores, or utilize the customer service contact information detailed herein.
In the event of any inconsistency between these Terms and Conditions and any applicable laws, including any applicable laws dealing with abandoned or uncollected goods, these terms and conditions will prevail to the extent permitted by law.
Our examination of the Item has been made solely for the purpose of describing the Item so that your property may be identified and so that we may, if applicable, estimate the price of service or repair work. We have not made any determination as to any of the following factors: the genuineness of the Item; any trademark affixed to the Item; the age or provenance of the Item; ownership of or title to the Item; the characteristics, nature, weight, dimensions, identity or fineness of any stone or metal contained within or
comprising the Item; or the value of the Item. Neither this receipt, nor any document or statement made with respect to any service provided related to the Item, shall constitute an appraisal or opinion by us as to any of the foregoing factors and this receipt may not be relied upon by any person other than the person to whom it was issued, for any purpose whatsoever.
NOT AN OFFER TO PURCHASE
This receipt is not an offer to purchase or an acceptance of the Item for return.
If an estimate is required, we may clean the Item before conducting our examination. After we have examined the Item, we may provide you with a written estimate of the price and time involved, or with the parameters on which the price will be based. Please note that the actual price and time involved for the requested service may differ from the estimate. We will not commence any work until after you have given us your authorization to proceed. We reserve the right to receive a deposit before commencing work.
RETURN OF PARTS
Removed parts will only be returned to you upon request, with the exception of those parts under contractual warranty.
LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
In the event the Item is lost or stolen while in our possession, we will replace it with a new Item or, with your consent, an item of like kind or the retail purchase price value paid for the Item. In the event the Item is damaged while in our possession, we will repair or replace it at our option with a new Item or, with your consent, an item of like kind. To the extent permitted by applicable law, we expressly disclaim any liability to you for any sentimental or emotional value associated with the Item, for any value associated with any claimed provenance or heritage associated with the Item, or, in the case of any vintage or heritage Items, for any value associated with original, component or replacement parts. You shall be obliged to take adequate measures to avert and reduce damages.
In some circumstances, we may not be able to repair or service the Item on our premises and may be required to send the Item to another location or a third-party service provider approved by us for repair or service.
ABANDONED OR UNCLAIMED ITEMS
All Items must be collected upon notification by us to you that your Item is ready for collection. Please ensure that you provide us with your full and current contact details, including name, postal address, email address and telephone number, so that we are able to contact you for collection. Items that are not claimed within one (1) year following notification will be stored and/or processed in accordance with applicable law. For more information on the disposition of abandoned or unclaimed Items if Items are not collected
upon notification and subsequent follow-up, please contact Customer Service in the market in which you submitted your Item(s) for service or repair. Email contact information at email@example.com, or you can call Customer Service at the numbers provided below.
Limited personal information will be collected and processed as part of this service or repair work and may be transferred and processed in our data management system in the U.S. or other countries in accordance with our Global Privacy Notice. We also may share this information with our affiliates worldwide for the purposes indicated above. In addition, we may share this information with (1) our service providers who perform services on our behalf based on our instructions; (2) government authorities with appropriate jurisdiction and (3) other third parties as required by law. Subject to applicable law, you have the right to access, correct and request blocking or deletion of the information. You may, at any time and free of charge, tell us to stop sending you communications by contacting us as indicated herein, however, we may need to contact you for the sole purpose of notifying you about the status of your service or repair request. You also may object to the processing of your information for sales and research activities by contacting us as indicated herein.
You have the right to request access to your personal data as well as to rectify any inaccurate data by contacting Customer Service by email (contact details are available here) or by calling Customer Service at the numbers provided below. Please also contact us if you would like us to update information we have about you or your preferences. If you have

Orders may be placed via phone; (+502) 2261-8866 or (+971) 4 342 2424. Store hours are Monday-Friday from 9:00am to 6:00pm EST. Orders can also be placed online at www.alessa.jewelry. Personalized orders will be confirmed by a sales representative. Please note that once an order has been placed, we are not able to modify or cancel your order. ALESSA DESIGNS reserves the right to refuse sales or cancel orders placed by a customer in violation of the site’s terms or as otherwise determined by ALESSA DESIGNS.
FINE JEWELRY ORDERS
All fine jewelry orders are custom cast and made to order in Dubai. All orders do not go into production without full advance payment by the customer. Fine jewelry orders take approximately 4 – 8 weeks to produce and ship. Should you need your order before that time frame, it may be possible to rush your order for an additional fee. You can note your rush request in the comments section of the order. If this is possible, a sales representative will provide you with the additional cost and your credit card will be charged accordingly.
BRASS COLLECTION ORDERS
Brass orders may ship immediately if the item is in stock. If the item is out of stock, orders can take up to 8 weeks. A sales representative will confirm the estimated time that you can expect to receive your order. Once we have shipped your order, you will receive an email with your tracking number. All orders are shipped as soon as they are complete. Orders placed during the holidays or when there is a high volume of orders can take longer than the allotted time frame. If this is the case, a sales representative will always notify the customer.
Overnight and 2nd day shipping are available for an additional fee. Orders may not be shipped to P.O. Boxes or APO/FPO addresses. We ship internationally via FedEx for an additional fee. ALESSA DESIGNS is not responsible for the payment of any duties, taxes or other fees assessed to international shipments and ALESSA DESIGNS is not responsible for any delays or other issues that may arise when shipping internationally. Once your order has shipped, you will receive an email with your tracking number. All orders over $1,000 require a signature upon delivery. Please make sure you are available to sign for your order when it is delivered, as you are solely responsible for the acceptance of your order upon delivery. ALESSA DESIGNS is not responsible for any lost packages, delayed delivery, or any other issues once your order leaves ALESSA DESIGNS. If your order is sent back to ALESSA DESIGNS by the shipping company for failure to deliver, you will be required to pay for the re-shipment of your order. ALESSA DESIGNS does not accept shipping accounts provided by the customer.
CORRECTION OF ERRORS AND INACCURACIES
We aim to present the most recent, most accurate and most reliable information on the website at all times. However, the information may contain typographical errors or inaccuracies and may not be complete or current. We, therefore, reserve the right to correct any errors, inaccuracies or omissions and to change and update information at any time without prior notice (including after you have submitted your order).
In the event a catalog product is listed at an incorrect price due to typographical error or systems error, Jennifer Fisher Jewelry shall have the right to refuse or cancel any orders placed for product listed at the incorrect price. Alessa Jewelry shall have the right to refuse or cancel any such orders whether or not the order has been confirmed and your credit card charged.
We accept Visa, MasterCard and American Express. We do not accept Discover cards, checks or money orders. Full payment is due before any order is processed and produced.
Many charms can be hand stamped as noted on the product page. The product’s information will show you how many letters can be accommodated on each piece. The font of the stamping is basic block capital letter and comes in small, medium, and large. Your charms will be stamped with the sizing that works best with your piece, unless otherwise noted or requested by the customer at the time the order is placed. As these products are hand stamped, please note that there may be slight imperfections in the stamping.
Charm necklace customization feature:
When building your necklace using this feature on our website, the charms selected will appear to overlap one another in order to mimic your necklace in real life. The charms do not lay perfectly flat on the chain; all of the charms will fall to the center of the chain and lay on top of each other. Charms are not soldered onto the links directly but all have jump rings. This is part of the design and cannot be changed. The Necklace Customization feature is to help visualize what your finished product will look like, however it may not be fully accurate in size, and your finished product is not guaranteed to be exactly identical to the virtual product.
All charms are available in polished (high shine) or matte finish (satin look). Polished finish is our more popular finish. The finish of charms may not be altered once the order is complete. Please refer to the finish guide prior to completing your order. Chains are only available in polished finish.
RETURN AND EXCHANGE POLICY FINE JEWELRY
All sales are final. Certain fine jewelry link chains may be exchanged in ALESSA DESIGNS’s discretion within 30 days of purchase, subject to a 20% stocking fee. You are responsible for all shipping costs for returns and exchanges.
Brass collection jewelry may be exchanged for a store credit or for an alternate size within 7-10 days of receipt, subject to ALESSA DESIGNS’s sole assessment as to whether the jewelry is in the same condition that it was purchased. If you purchased an ALESSA DESIGNS piece of jewelry from an outside retailer and would like to exchange or return it, you must bring the piece to the original retailer where the item was purchased. We are not responsible for any jewelry not purchased directly from ALESSA DESIGNS.
Should you wish to make any alterations to your ALESSA DESIGNS fine jewelry, or require a repair, please reach out to a sales representative at (+971) 4 342 2424 or (+502) 2261-8866. Please note that the customer is responsible for the cost of the repair as well as the shipment, unless it is within 30 days of purchase and it has been determined that there is an issue with the product.
Since our brass jewelry is plated, we are not able to repair any brass jewelry. However, we kindly ask that you bring any issue experienced within 30 days of purchase to our attention. Should there be a problem with your jewelry, we are happy to exchange this item or extend a credit to you for the value of your piece.
Please refer to our JEWELRY CARE page to learn how to personally care for your ALESSA DESIGNS jewelry. For fine jewelry, ALESSA DESINGS is pleased to offer a one time complimentary cleaning within one year of your purchase.
Any promotions offered by ALESSA DESIGNS will state the time frame in which they can be used, along with any other limitations or excluded products. ALESSA DESIGNS reserves the right to alter or cancel any promotion without notice. If a promotion is used incorrectly or being abused, ALESSA DESIGNS has the right to cancel these orders and ban the usage of any further promotional material by such user.
ALESSA DESIGNS provides images of each item on the Site and endeavors to show as much detail as possible. However, viewing images online has its disadvantages as the size and color of the images may vary across digital screens and mobile devices. Measurements of select pieces are provided to help visual size.
MODIFICATIONS TO SERVICE/TERMINATION
ALESSA DESIGNS reserves the right at any time to modify or discontinue the Service (or any part thereof). You agree that ALESSA DESIGNS shall not be liable to you or to any third party for any modification, suspension or discontinuance of the Service. You acknowledge that ALESSA DESIGNS reserves the right to deactivate accounts, cancel orders, and/or refuse to accept orders from users that violate the Terms or for such other reason as determined by ALESSA DESIGNS.
ALESSA DESIGNS PROPRIETARY RIGHTS
You agree not to reproduce, duplicate, copy, sell, resell or exploit for any commercial purposes, any portion of the Service or the Site. You acknowledge that the Site and the Service contains copyrights, trademarks, service marks, or other intellectual property of ALESSA DESIGNS. Unless specifically stated otherwise, ALESSA DESIGNS owns the copyright to the Site, all images on the Site and on all jewelry designs as well as the rights in several trademarks. You agree not to infringe upon ALESSA DESIGNS’ intellectual property rights in any manner.
THIRD PARTY SITES
Your dealings with advertisers or any links or third-party sites found on or through the Service are solely between you and such third-party. Because ALESSA DESIGNS has no control over such sites and resources, you acknowledge and agree that ALESSA DESIGNS is not responsible for the availability of such external sites or resources, and does not endorse and is not responsible or liable for any content, materials, advertising, products, promotions or any other activities or events. We suggest that you carefully read the applicable terms and privacy policies of any other site you may visit.
DISCLAIMER OF WARRANTIES
YOU EXPRESSLY UNDERSTAND AND AGREE THAT: YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE IS AT YOUR SOLE RISK. ALESSA DESIGNS EXPRESSLY DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING, BUT NOT LIMITED TO THE IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. ALESSA DESIGNS MAKES NO WARRANTY THAT (i) THE SERVICE WILL MEET YOUR REQUIREMENTS, (ii) THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, TIMELY, SECURE, OR ERROR-FREE, (iii) THE SERVICE WILL BE ACCURATE OR RELIABLE, AND (iv) THE QUALITY OF ANY PRODUCTS, SERVICES, INFORMATION, OR OTHER MATERIAL ACCESSED OR OBTAINED BY YOU THROUGH THE SERVICE WILL MEET YOUR EXPECTATIONS. NO INFORMATION, WHETHER ORAL OR WRITTEN, OBTAINED BY YOU FROM ALESSA DESIGNS OR THROUGH THE SERVICE SHALL CREATE ANY WARRANTY NOT EXPRESSLY STATED IN THE TERMS.
LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
YOU EXPRESSLY UNDERSTAND AND AGREE THAT ALESSA DESIGNS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO, DAMAGES FOR LOSS OF ANY FUNDS, TANGIBLE OR INTANGIBLE, LOSS OF PROFITS, GOODWILL, USE, DATA OR ANY OTHER LOSSES RESULTING FROM: (i) THE USE OR THE INABILITY TO USE THE SERVICE; (ii) THE USE OR PARTICIPATION IN ANY THIRD PARTY PRODUCT OR SERVICE OR OTHER SITES; (iii) STATEMENTS OR CONDUCT OF ANY THIRD PARTY YOU MAY ACCESS THROUGH THE SERVICE; OR (iv) ANY OTHER MATTER RELATING TO THE SERVICE.
Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion of certain warranties or limitations of liability so some of the above limitations may not apply to you.
You agree to release, indemnify, defend, and to hold ALESSA DESIGNS and its subsidiaries, affiliates, officers, agents, or other partners, and employees, harmless from any claim or demand, including reasonable attorneys’ fees and costs regarding your breach of the Terms and/or any claim or demand made by any third party due to or arising out of your use of the Site or Service or your violation or alleged violation of any rights of another.
ALESSA DESIGNS complies with the Children’s Online Privacy Act. Our Site (and links that may be available through our Site), are not intended for persons under the age of eighteen (18). We do not knowingly collect information from such persons.
The Terms constitute the entire agreement between you and ALESSA DESIGNS, superseding any other agreements or understandings between you and ALESSA DESIGNS.
